My children's development is my top priority as a parent. We need something to feed children's endless curiosity and boundless energy. My Fisher Price Smart Cycle does just that.
If the weather outside is frightful, don't worry the Smart Cycle is so delightful. My kids can still get their energy out without tearing the house apart. They can also feel good about achieving goals as they complete tasks and play the mini games on the Fisher Price Smart Cycle software. I can get a kid-free minute while my children are occupied racing or helping each other with the number or letter side games.
The Fisher Price Smart Cycle toys don't come with the required 4 "d" batteries, but you can save money in the long run by purchasing the T-2299 Universal Smart Fast Charger with 8 Tenergy D batteries like we did. It makes it easy; just charge 4 of the batteries while the children have hours of fun using up the other 4.
Switching the game cartridges is simple enough for even the youngest toddler. My child feels so proud of himself when he can do it 'all by himself'. When he gets tired of one game all he has to do is pull out the cartridge and slip a new one into the Fisher Price Smart Cycle and off he goes on his next big adventure.
The Fisher Price Smart Cycle gets all the action of a video arcade without ever leaving your home. The hardware/software plug-and-play is such a simple hook up system our Smart Cycle is ready to go whenever the kids feel like it. They enjoy being able to pick the models and colors on their own vehicles, as well as change the environments as they change the games. (The games are sold separately.)
Navigation is easy with the software we've purchased because each software cartridge comes with a "helper" to assist in guiding your children through the different obstacles and side games. I don't know what I would do without my Fisher Price Smart Cycle.
Many children's toys are for a very specific age and capability range, but the Fisher Price Smart Cycle adjusts as my children grow. The seat has 3 height settings so every child is comfortable, and the best part is that the Fisher Price Smart Cycle software has even more flexibility than the seat! There are different games for different ages, so as my child outsmarts one game the next is up to the challenge. The Fisher Price Smart Cycle can keep up with fast learning toddlers!
When cycling becomes tiresome, the learning can continue with fun filled learning games that are controlled using a conveniently placed joystick that is near the handle bars. The Fisher Price Smart Cycle has other titles of software; some of ours are Sponge Bob Square Pants, Hot Wheels, and even Dora the explorer. (These are sold individually)
I recommend the Fisher Price Smart Cycle to any child who has the capacity to participate in such activities.
