An athlete like a body builder gaining muscle mass needs to pay particular attention to their diet. Certain nutrients are needed to help muscle grow and repair themselves. You can exercise all you want but if you have poor nutrition you will not get the results you want or feel and be as healthy.

You also have to make sure that you are getting enough fiber in your diet. The fiber that you eat provides your body with the bulk in your diet and helps your body to eliminate waste. Whole grains, nuts, and seeds are good sources of fiber.

Fruits and vegetables are also to be included in a well balanced diet. It is best if you eat a lot of vegetables and a little bit of fruit. Fruits will give you energy and vegetables will give you great nutrition for muscle growth.
