Online shopping is quickly becoming the primary method of buying goods and services. The internet offers an almost endless supply of goods at competitive prices.
As retail stores are shutting their doors, online malls are growing rapidly. As this occurs it becoming increasingly difficult to find what you are looking for at retail stores because their inventory is shrinking.
Recently I went to a store to buy a North Face backpack. The store I went to advertised the one I was looking for, the perfect color and size. However when I got there they only one in stock which was not the right color. They told me they could order it and I would have it in a week.
I left the store and did what many other have done. I went online and ordered one at a cheaper price. After the order went through the pack was at my door in four days.
As customer service and inventory drop at retail stores, more will close their doors. In my opinion only the stores with a true customer first policy will be the ones that last through this era.
Online malls offer everything from video games like the Nintendo Wii, X Box and PS3 to fragrances, jewelry and everything in between.
In my opinion internet malls are the way to go. Most are set up similar to a department store. As you enter the website you have different departments to browse through to find what you are looking for. The difference is when you are online, you can find what you want in two or three clicks.
My only suggestion when shopping online is to find that mall that fits what you are looking for. Just as you would if you were shopping retail, not everystore has what you need. By shopping online you will save time, gas money and lower your stress.
With my past experience, online shopping is the way to go. About one year ago I purchased a product from a retail store that has closed down. At this point if something happens to item I am out. The warranty is no longer active. Just a bit of advice, if you buy at retail, ask them what happens to the warranty if the store closes its doors. - 15995
