Revealing The Truth About Wrinkle Creams

By Jen Hopkins

Your face; what does it mean to you and others? It is your identity, who you are, and what you are remembered by. If you do not like your face, unlike your body you cannot just toss size too big sweatshirt over it. So if you struggle with your day to day appearance due to unsightly wrinkles - a wrinkle cream is your best option.

In today's world there are numerous brands of wrinkle creams that advertise to make you look younger sooner. Choosing the best cream for you is a difficult task due to the mass amounts of them on the shelves. So it is always best to do your research to gather information from users of the most effective wrinkle creams.

The cost per ounce is one of the main things to look for. At a drug store, getting a knock off brand that does the same thing for a few dollars compared to a few hundred at a department store is extremely significant. Unlike the creams that celebrities advertise on the television, there are many other products that do the same thing.

A cream with sunblock mixed in with it is a great place to start. Make sure it has a sun protection factor that is fifteen or higher. The only reason this is a good investment to have with your wrinkle cream is that you will not have to wear sun block separately if you decide to go outside.

A cream that moisturizes your skin is a good buy, as well. When you use a moisturizer, it forms an invisible barrier on your skin that protects it from the environment. It is imperative for aging skin to stay moisturized, as lack of moisture causes skin to become dry and more prone to wrinkles.

Thirdly, get a light, odorless, and preferably clear cream. A clear cream results in a brighter appearance meaning the wrinkles you already have are less visible and being removed. The negative side of heavier creams is they often clog pores as they are extremely thick, dry up throughout the day leaving a crusty appearance; and ultimately leading to acne.

So if you can find a wrinkle cream with all of these that actually works; you have the battle half fought. After you get your wrinkle cream there are some maintenance factors you need to perform. Mainly you need to keep your face clean, which means wash it every night to rid of clogged pores and any make-up.

However you may not want to just clean your face every night; dirt particles can still clog up your pores while you sleep. So just to be safe, wash your face in the morning as well. When you use the cream in the morning, make sure you wash it off at night. It will just increase the dryness. Keep in mind when washing your face you should always do it lightly, as this helps to reduce wrinkles and damaged skin.

So when you get your cream make sure you do your research. Find something that not only has worked for others but will more than likely work with you with little hassle. A little bit of security is a guarantee (if they have one) which is a great place to start. Find a cream that works for you so you can be on your way to a fresh new start. - 15995
